How to split partition in Windows?

  • Sometimes, Windows users need to split partition, but system built-in disk management tool does not offer the function of splitting partition. Therefore, users need to download a partition magic which is able to split partition in Windows. Now, let’s see this function in detail. After running the partition magic, users can see its main interface, like the following screenshot shows:



    In the main interface, users need to select the partition which needs splitting. Then, multiple partition management functions will appear in action panel, and users need to select the function “Split Partition” to split partition in Windows. After this operation, the following interface will appear:



    In this interface, users can split partition by dragging the button between 2 partition handles or imputing desired value to corresponding textbox, and then click “OK” button to go back to main interface:



    In the main interface, users can see preview effect. If selected partition has been split, they just need to click “Apply” button to apply all changes to computer (if users do not get desired effect, they can cancel former operations and split partition again). After application, users are successful to split partition in Windows by using partition magic.
